There is nothing more important to our customers or to us than System Security and Systems Resilience.

- We have double 100Mbit connections to the Internet via failsafe connections. Through Global SP's private national network, we are interconnected with a number of Point of Presence (POP) and Internet operators. Our Internet access is secured via BGP4 technology, we interconnect with every major global Internet operator, with whom we have peering agreements or transit.)

- Our Datacenter has its own system of electrical security. The incoming power is supplied directly through EDF at 20,000 volts via a dual induction. The transformation into 400 Volts is done by us. In the event of an incident, the changeover on the second loop electrical EDF is immediate and automatic. In the event of a general loss of current from EDF, a shift automatic, transparent, seamless is immediately made to the inverter. At the time of the changeover to the inverter, and whether the current EDF principal supply does not return, the generator starts itself automatically to take care of all the needs of the electricity for the Datacenter. - Information Security - part of the security is that our server is currently hosted behind a secure DMZ, this means that administrators can only access and control our server after passing through the secure DMZ, there is no direct access to our server. All communications protocols except HTTP and FTP (which can only be accessed from authorised IP addresses) are blocked. SMTP (emails) from the server is sent out via another dedicated SMTP server in Global-SP's DMZ.

We have installed MS SQL Server and similarly we have set eLink up correctly for optimised running on an optimised SQL Server installation.

We provide,maintain and support our secure server whether this is for:- The Operating System, - Hardware speed and functionality, - The client portals, - The SQL Server database, backups and house-keeping,- The firewalls, - The security controls- Testing and implementing new versions of the eLink Advantage application software

Because of the knowledge, experience and skill-sets required, some of this work we do ourselves, some we out-source to Next Application, the owners of eLink, and some we out-source to Global SP, whatever is needed to achieve a very high quality result, consistently delivered. Indeed the e-advantage team are looking after hundreds of users, the eLink team are looking after hundreds of eLink clients and the Global SP team are similarly looking after hundreds of their own Datacenter clients.

Furthermore the people from these teams are already used to working together so we are getting the same degree of close-knit operations as for example the bank BNP Paribas get, the largest bank in France. Naturally we have all put in place the appropriate Continuity Planning for this critical function.
